The Dexter superintendent of schools, high school principal and staff did a tremendous job last night administering this game and dealing with the inclement weather. The three of us who officiated this game were kept informed during both the JV and varsity contests of impending severe weather. We kept the coaches up to date and there were no surprises when we had to suspend play. The coordination, evacuation to safe areas within the school, communication and administration of their disaster plan was excellent. The fans and parents of Dexter High School students have a lot to be proud of with their group of administrators. They acted promptly, professionally and should be appropriately congratulated for their efforts.
