Bell City senior Nick Niemczyk will lead the Bell City Cubs against Scott County Central tonight at Poplar Bluff High School in a MSHSAA Class 1 sectional game. Game time is scheduled for 7:45 p. m. with a trip to the quarterfinals at stake. Bell City defeated Lesterville, 88-57, in the district 2 title game, while the Braves beat Gideon, 88-56, in the district 1 championship. The game between the two schools will continue a long-standing rivalry that Bell City has seen Bell City hold the upper hand in recent playoff meetings.

If Heeb was still at BC, they win, assuming they would still be recruiting like mad and have at least 2 out of 5 starters from other towns. Now that he is not, I am still going with the Cubbies. Brandtner 1A Coach of the Year, Doudy 2A, Andrews 3A, Hale 4A, and Floyd Irons 5A!

You (shannonhoon) lose all credibility with remarks about Heeb (which were deserved), and then touting Floyd (rules are for everyone else) Irons!

Shannon....you are goofier than a pet coon, there is no way that BC wins tonight. DD and Caleb will have their way with the BC Niemczyks. Seth McDowell has a better chance to be the next BB coach at SEMO than BC has to beat SCC.

Is this all we get on the topic?

Game over....SCC by 22. Over the next few years SCC will continue to dominate class 1A. The kids they have coming up are going to take the torch and run, now BC on the other hand. Coach Brandtner is going to have a lot of long seasons in his future.

Do you really think Brandtner will stay at BC?

Kidding about Floyd.....I was sure wrong about thinking BC might handle that team....not a chance. Watkins could hit 12 threes, still doesn't change the fact that BC is a one man show and he got shut down. Porter a HUGE difference maker. I am not as goofy as a pet coon, almost. True SCC will dominate. ZakMc won't comment too much, he benefitted from the move-ins. Brandtner as good as gone.
