Number one Dexter pounded No. 4 Woodland, bringing the 10-run rule into play, during a 17-6 win, while No. 2 Bloomfield sent No. 3 Bernie to the third-place game with a 9-4 decision.
Dexter only collected eight hits in its win over Woodland, but took advantage of 14 walks to dispatch of the Lady Cardinals.
Bernie took and early 4-1 lead over the Lady Wildcats, but the Lady Mules were shutout for the remainder of the game as Bloomfield continued to tack on runs in every inning to pull away for the win.
"We played fairly well, but after the second inning we never scored again," Bernie coach Jeff Rodgers said. "You don't give yourself much of a chance when you do that."
Thursday's tournament lineup will have No. 5 Advance vs. No. 6 Puxico at 1 p. m., while No. 4 Woodland will take on No. 3 Bernie at 2:30 for third place. The title game between Dexter and Bloomfield is set for 4 o'clock.
