Brittney Waldner's third-place finish paced the winning effort with a time of 20:59, followed by Lizzie Kohlbaker, who finished fourth with the same 20:59 time.
"These two ran a smart race," Dexter coach Jill King said. "They ran together well, working on some foot speed and will hopefully be ready for a good race Saturday at the big Hancock Invitational in St. Louis."
Hannah Baker finished sixth for Dexter (21:22), Jessica Litchfield was 21st (23:09), Hannah Mathis was 33rd (24:38) and Maddison Baker was 36th (25:11).
"Overall it was a pretty good size meet with 10 teams," King said. "That is a lot bigger than it has been in the past. I was pretty pleased with our running. Hannah (Baker) and Jessica (Litchfield) ran great races. I am proud of how those two are improving and working hard."
On the boys side, Luke Robinson was the top finisher with a time of 18:33, good for 31st. Alex Allstun finished 36th with a time of 18:54.
"Luke (Robinson) and Alex (Allstun) ran a great race," King said. "Those two keep dropping their times which is great.
Ryan Bagby clocked a 20:34 good for 53rd for the varsity boys.
On the junior varsity said for the girls, Kaitlyn Phillips (26:00) finished 16th, Malinda Mayo (26:16) crossed in 17th position and Jennifer Aslin (29:20) came in 25th.
For the jayvee boys, Dillon Dungan was 36th at 21:58, and Colton Burnett was 45th at 25:39.
The team will be in action Saturday at the Hancock Invitational In St. Louis.
