"Jackson is a very strong team," Dexter coach Leanna Dooley stated. "Our girls are working hard, but their lack of court time shows against tough competition.
"The No. 1 singles was a great match as Erinne Haff has only lost once so far this season and Katelyn came so close to defeating her," Dooley added. "It was a well played match by both girls."
Heil and Haff hooked up in the days most competitive match, as the two team's top players battled to a 8-8 score and forced a tiebreaker. Haff was able to take a 7-5 win in the tiebreaker to win the match, 8-7.
Dexter now stands at 1-9 on the season in duel matches.
The Lady Bearcats will next be in action this weekend when they will take part in a tournament in Farmington.
