The fall sports season at Dexter High School was officially brought to an end Tuesday night with the annual Fall Sports Recognition Program held in the DHS auditorium. Athletes participating in volleyball, football, cross country, girls tennis and cheerleading where recognized for their accomplishments while individual awards in each sports were presented. Nick Hessling (below) was the recipient of this year's Bland Award in football, given to the outstanding senior student-athlete. Hessling is pictured holding the award and standing in front of the table that displays the awards earned by Dexter teams during the fall campaign.
