SCAA Junior High teams compete at Richland

Stoddard County's junior high basketball teams are competing in th league's annual season-ending tournament, being contested at Richland High School this year. Bernie, the number one seed in both the 7th and 8th grade, has advanced to the championship games where they will play Dexter, seeded 3rd in both brackets, Thursday. Dexter's D. J. Dowdy (above picture) makes the steal against Puxico's Dustin Null during 7th grade semifinal action Monday, while the Bearcats' Chase Young drives to the basket against the defense of Advance's Ethan Barr in 8th grade action.
